Finding what you need
Here at Flags International® we know its hard to find quality custom made flags and banners or any other custom made product. It can be very confusing with the type of materials used, the process, or even where the product is made. Our custom quotes will inform you of what process was used, what material its made out of, and you can be sure that with Flags International® its made in the U.S.A.
Product Life Span
The life time expectancy of a flag or banner is dependant on a number of different factors. These factors such as the weather and environment vary from region to region. The material used and shape of the flag or banner can also play a part in how the product handles the wind and other elements. There is no way of predicting how long a flag or banner will last. Steps can be taken to lengthen the life of the product but predicting how long it will last is impossible. It is advised that flags be taken down when wind speeds exeed 30 mph. Please contact one of our specialists for proper care tips.
Product Care
Flags will last as long as you make them last. Leaving you flags up 24/7 year round will shorten their life span to the absolute minimum. Taking you flags down at night and during stormy weather will help considerably. An area's weather will play a significant role in how well your flag will hold up.
Double Sided Flags
We usually don't recommend double sided flags for two reasons. 1) They are basically three flags sewn together (front, liner, and back). This makes them very heavy and will not fly well. 2) When you do get winds high enough to make them fly the life span of the flag diminishes and it starts to fray a lot faster than normal. Basically you would be paying nearly twice as much for something that will last half as long. This is why we recommend a single reverse construction.
All flags, regardless of their construction or material, are not meant to be flown in wind speeds above 30 mph.
